I am so blessed to be the Director of such an outstanding, historically rich educational institution. I am a graduate of South Pittsburg High School. I attended Belmont College (now University) and played basketball on a scholarship. I graduated in 1982. One week after graduating from college, I married Jim Webb (also a SPHS graduate). I began my teaching career at RHMS in 1982.  I taught 5th – 8th grade science, P.E. , and music.  I directed the chorus for many years. I coached many sports while teaching at RHMS for 14 years. I coached the boys and girls basketball teams, golf, track, softball, and volleyball. In 1996, I left RHMS to teach and coach at my alma mater- South Pittsburg High School.  I taught and coached there from 1996 – 2009. I was also an assistant principal of the South Pittsburg Academy (7th and 8th grade). In 2009, I came back to where I started – Richard Hardy – as the principal.  I have loved every minute of my time working as the principal.  I love my faculty, staff, students and parents.  We have an awesome school.  In 2019, I was named the Director of the Richard City Special School District. I look forward to working in this new role to continue moving Richard Hardy Memorial School towards bigger and better successes. My husband and I have one daughter, Ashley Webb Thomas.  She is a 4th Grade teacher at SPES. She and her husband, Aaron Thomas, have one son – Trent – MY PRIDE AND JOY!
